Lisa Jamison

Lisa has always taken a multi-disciplinary approach to helping people perform their best. Through her business, LIFT Performance Enhancement, she has been assisting people who desire to move better for 30+ years. Lisa was part of the initial wave of group fitness instructors and personal trainers in the early 1980's while she attended The University of Connecticut. Studying Sports Medicine/Athletic Training as part of the School of Education involved sport pedagogy, the learning, teaching, and instruction of physical activity. She has always considered herself a "health educator" before all her other titles. Yet, she's been known as...Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Movement Specialist, Massage Therapist, Anatomy and Physiology Teacher, Yoga Instructor, Meditation Leader, Breathworker, Body Restorative Therapist, Healer, and more. Lisa received her 200hr training through Asheville Yoga, and her Medical Therapeutic Yoga training with the Living Well Institute. She specializes in the "non-working forms of yoga"; Yin and Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, and Breathwork Meditation. She holds regular teacher trainings and workshops for continuing education.
